Sound manages effect sounds and voice feedback for navigation.

Sound Effects

Enable Enable sound effects to use macOS system sounds for LaunchNext actions.

Per-event sound mapping is available for:

• Launchpad opens
• Launchpad closes
• Move focus

Each row supports:

• a sound picker
• Preview
• None option

Voice Feedback

Enable Voice Over announces focused app or folder names while navigating.

When Voice Over is enabled, navigation click sound is replaced by voice output.

Recommended Presets

Quiet daily setup

• sound effects: on
• launch open/close sounds: subtle
• move focus sound: subtle or none
• voice over: off

Accessibility-first setup

• sound effects: on
• voice over: on
• keep navigation sound simple to avoid overlap

Troubleshooting

Preview button has no output

1. make sure selected sound is not None
2. check macOS output device and volume
3. verify sound effects toggle is enabled
