Hidden Apps

Hidden Apps is a visibility filter. It controls what appears in the LaunchNext grid.

Two Lists You Will Use

• Hidden apps: currently removed from grid display
• Not hidden apps: visible candidates you can hide

Both lists support search and incremental loading.

Hide An App

1. Open Not hidden apps
2. Search for the app
3. Click Hide application

Unhide An App

1. Open Hidden apps
2. Find the app
3. Click Unhide

What Happens Internally

• Hidden state is persisted
• App remains installed, only filtered from grid
• Layout compacts around hidden items

Best Practice

Hide utilities and one-off tools first, then review page density before changing grid settings.

Troubleshooting

I hid an app but still see it

1. Refresh once
2. Confirm you hid the correct app path
3. Check if another copy of the same app exists from another source path
